| Purpose | Restaurant |
In the idyllic coastal town of Bridport in England, Groves Nurseries, like many garden centres in England, wanted a restaurant. This wish has come true with a beautiful HighLight arched greenhouse.
Restaurant as a crowd puller
The restaurant is a HighLight arched structure with a ridge height of 8.5 metres and a floor area of 415 m². It comprises three different areas with a total of no fewer than 300 seats. Research has shown that a restaurant in a garden centre means that customers stay longer and return more often.
Beautiful design
The project was completed by the builder Smiemans at the end of February 2018, and the restaurant officially opened in May 2018. The design is by Architect Malcolm Scott Consultants.
