Multifunctional buildings
A wide range of clients approach us with unusual requests. For Wildlands Zoo, we supplied the facades for a 16,500 m² ‘experience greenhouse’ that is unique in Europe. To protect the health of the animals, we used UV-permeable polycarbonate, which also has high insulation properties, is competitively priced, and looks great.
Many museums also know where to find us: for Huis Doorn, we built an exhibition greenhouse whose shape and volume echo those of the surrounding buildings. The use of UV-filtered daylight is a surprising feature for museum visitors who are accustomed to dark exhibition spaces.
Healthcare institutions and school boards looking for creative solutions for expansions, for example, as daycare facilities or after-school care, also opt for the fast construction, sustainability, and efficiency of a greenhouse.
Greenhouses for research and education
For institutions operating at a scientific and botanical level, absolute climate reliability is essential. Our custom-built botanical greenhouses offer the sophisticated climate control required for rare plant collections, advanced research programs, and outstanding education.
With groundbreaking projects such as Inverewe Gardens, Campus Riedberg, and Campus Kortrijk Science & Green, we demonstrate how advanced insulation, daylight control, targeted ventilation, and intelligent climate control can take the whole to a higher level and meet the most stringent sustainability criteria.
