Corona measures
Dear all,
Given the current situation regarding the coronavirus / covid-19, we would like to inform you about the preventive measures that we have taken to limit the effects, but also to inform you about the consequences we have experienced so far.
We follow the official recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment here in the Netherlands (RIVM) as our sources of information. We have informed our own employees about the risks and the measures to be taken by them.
Our manufactory is open and accessible to our suppliers. We ask the truck drivers not to come into the manufactory and to report by telephone, after which we will load or unload the truck. All administrative actions will be handled according to security requirements and there is an increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection.
Our suppliers have also taken precautions themselves, which have a negative impact on delivery times and stocks, and travel plans must be postponed and / or reconsidered. Although we put all our energy into minimizing the delays, we are unexpectedly delayed. We cannot yet estimate the exact consequences.
We realize that it is currently not sufficiently clear how the situation will develop, but we will of course follow the public information and news in the media closely. The management will of course continue to assess the situation and will take additional measures if necessary.
Smiemans Projecten naturally hopes to continue to serve its business relations in the usual way and will inform you in time if more unexpected changes occur in the course of events.
